On summer days, I love basking in the warm sunlight, watching the swallows swooping and passing above my head, listening to birds chirping, and butterflies fluttering.
With this piece, I wanted to use watercolour and gouache, mixing with handmade textures to capture the vibrance of Summer Solstice - the longest day of the year.
